1. Statement of Principles
Habsburgo defines luxury through the union of exceptional design, superior material quality, and a profound sense of social and environmental responsibility. This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy establishes the principles that guide our operations, our community impact, and our commitment to building a sustainable legacy. Our goal is for each of our creations to be a symbol of excellence, not only in its aesthetics but also in the integrity of its origin and manufacturing.
2. Pillars of Our CSR Strategy
Our CSR strategy is built upon four pillars of concrete action:
Pillar I: Ethical Governance and Responsible Sourcing
We are committed to operating with the highest standards of integrity and transparency throughout our value chain, in response to the growing demand from consumers and regulators for greater accountability in the luxury sector.
- Transparency and Traceability: We will implement systems to ensure the traceability of our raw materials, with a particular focus on precious metals and gemstones. This is intended to guarantee the authenticity and ethical origin of our materials.
- Labor Standards: We are committed to maintaining fair, safe, and equitable working conditions in our own workshop and to contractually requiring our strategic partners and suppliers to adhere to international conventions on labor rights.
- Regulatory Compliance: We will ensure proactive adherence to national and international legislation on commerce, fair labor, and environmental protection, adopting the highest standards as the foundation of our global policy.
Pillar II: Craftsmanship Preservation and Cultural Patronage
We recognize the importance of protecting and promoting high craftsmanship, a fundamental discipline for the luxury industry that faces challenges in transferring knowledge to new generations.
- Investment in Artisan Talent: Through our workshop, we will establish training and apprenticeship programs to develop the skills of the next generation of goldsmiths, stone setters, and other specialized artisans.
- Collaboration with the Arts Sector: We will allocate resources to collaborate with contemporary artists and cultural institutions. This is intended to create a fertile dialogue between high jewelry and other forms of artistic expression, enriching the cultural ecosystem.
- Innovation and Heritage: Our design process will integrate the research and application of historical artisanal techniques, ensuring their preservation by fusing them with a contemporary design vision.
Pilar III: Fostering Regional Creative Industries
One of our most distinctive corporate objectives is to actively contribute to the development and international recognition of the creative and luxury industry in Latin America.
- Centralization of High-Value Production: By establishing and scaling our primary workshop in Mexico, we seek to centralize the high-value-added stages—design, development, and manufacturing—in the region, contributing to the creation of skilled employment.
- Development of a Local Supply Chain: We will foster business relationships with local suppliers and collaborators, with the goal of strengthening a regional production network capable of competing in quality and creativity on the global market.
- Positioning the Region: Our strategy aims to position Latin America as a center of excellence in design and luxury, demonstrating its potential to originate brand propositions with international relevance.
Pilar IV: Environmental Stewardship
We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact and promoting a more conscious consumption model centered on durability and quality.
- Designing for Longevity: The fundamental principle of our environmental strategy is the creation of timeless products of exceptional quality, designed to last for generations. This represents our opposition to the culture of ephemeral consumption.
- Materials and Waste Management: We will prioritize the use of recycled precious metals where feasible and will select gemstones from suppliers who demonstrate responsible extraction practices. Likewise, our packaging will be designed to be recyclable and to minimize waste.
- Measuring Operational Impact: We will implement a framework to measure and manage the carbon footprint of our key operations, including production and international logistics, in order to establish clear and verifiable reduction targets.
3. Governance and Reporting
The oversight of this policy rests with the senior management of Habsburgo. A CSR committee has been established to supervise the implementation of the commitments described herein and to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). We are committed to annual reporting on our progress in each of these pillars to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
